Wengen has a wide range of places to eat, with 23 restaurants to choose from, and many more cafes and bars to choose from. Pizzas and Fondues are very popular, with the "Da Sina" and "Lauberhorn Treff" catering well for the more exclusive tastes. If the range of restaurants on offer somehow fails to impress, the nearby village Grindelwald, linked through the ski area, offers yet more gastronomic opportunities. On the slopes themselves, there are 21 mountain restaurants to choose from, so skiers can easily refuel then ski on!
Apres-ski is vibrant in Wengen, with its tradition of hospitality and friendliness, and will suite all tastes, with everything from informal quiet cafes to lively bars and clubs. Sina's, Tanne, the Hot Chilli Pepper bar or Rode's Bar are all lively and popular venues in Wengen itself.
The surrounding area has lots to see and do. The famous revolving Piz Gloria restaurant at Schilthorn, of James Bond fame, is well worth a visit. Alternatively guests can watch the floodlit ski and snowboarding exhibitions, or try their hand at one of the sports that the sports centre (and its pool) have to offer. Curling, Ice skating, snowshoeing, guided walks, tobogganing are also on offer, whilst for a more sedate day, visit the Wellness Centre at Grindelwald, with its saunas and massages, or the English church at Wengen.
